Today, we honor those who perished in the Apollo 1, Challenger and Columbia tragedies. As we mark the 30th anniversary of the Challenger disaster this morning, let us remember the 17 brave souls who gave their lives in our quest to explore the unknown and advance our knowledge of the cosmos.
